Feed the Dungeon
A downloadable game for Windows
Feed the Dungeon is a Dungeon-Crawler, & Hack-and-Slash game, starring the Raccoon Cook, Chef, whose ferocious appetite leads them deep within the Dungeon.
Description
Over the centuries the Dungeon has become overgrown with flora and fauna - all mutated and strangely warped by the dungeon itself. You are not the only soul brave enough to venture into this place, but you are certainly the only one who has the gumption to cook the creatures inside!
Your journey will be a perilous one, full of action, adventure, but most importantly cooking!
Feed the Dungeon aims to give players a semi-cosy experience as they venture through a dungeon, slaying monsters and bosses and cooking them into meals to gain buffs. Combat is the core of this game but revolves around the buffs you pick from your meals.
The atmosphere is a fantastical and whimsy adventure set inside a run down dungeon that has been taken over by all manner of monsters.
Venture forth brave Chef, eat, work, slay, repeat!
History
Feed the Dungeon is a student game made by a team of eleven students at Swinburne Institute of Technology. The game has been in production since November 2024 and is the biggest project the students have undertaken yet.
Feed the Dungeon is inspired by games such as Cult of the Lamb and Binding of Isaac - as well as the teams love for dungeon crawls and whimsical fantasy. The cooking side of the game takes inspiration from Ryoko Kui's Delicious in Dungeon as well as Cooking Muma.
